The Origins
The Hellfest is a music festival which takes place each years in Clisson in mid-june. The 'Fest was born in 2006 in the mind of Ben Barbaud on the ashes of the Furyfest (a festival created in 2002 and stopped in 2005).
The aim of the Hellfest is to give to France a true festival specialized in extreme musics (Punk, Metal etc ...) and, of course, to gather fans of these musics like the Wacken Open Air in Germany.
And just 1 year after the end of the Furyfest, the first edition of the Hellfest happened
